Ingredients

    • 1 Cauliflower
    • 50 gr of Butter
    • 125 gr of mushrooms
    • A pinch of salt and pepper
    • 100 gr of grated bread
    • 2 Tablespoon of grated parmesan cheese
    • 1 Dessert spoon of oregano
    • 1 Dessert spoon of dry parsley

Steps:

      1. First of all we have to boil some water with salt. Then we have to cut the cauliflower in smaller pieces, and once the water starts boiling, we have to add the cauliflower and cook it for 3 minutes. After that, we remove the cauliflower, let it strain and save it somewhere.
      2. Now we have to start warming up the oven to 230ºC. Aside that, start melting the butter in a frying pan and simmer the mushrooms, stirring them, also for 3 minutes.
      3. With the two principal ingredients ready, the next step will be mixing the mushrooms and the cauliflower in a bowl and adding some salt and pepper.
      4. Aside that, mix the grated bread with the cheese and the spices. Stir it so that all the ingredients are distributed equally.
      5. Put the mix of mushrooms and cauliflower in a fireproof mould for the oven and spread on top of that the mix of bread and cheese. Finish it by cutting the butter in pieces and distributing it on top of everyithing. Try to distribute all the ingredients equally.
      6. Cook it in the preheated oven for 15 minutes approximately. The top of our gratiné should be golden.
      7. Enjoy this delicious vegetarian dish and serve it as a main course, or as a garnish of some fish or chicken, for example.
