Ingredients:

– Cheese
– Salt
– Virgin olive oil
– 6 Red peppers
– 1 Onion (cut in small pieces)
– Some black pepper
– 1/2 kg of Ground meat
– Bechamel.
– Some parsley

 

Steps:

First of all prepare the peppers. Wash and dry them, and then clean their insides. Four of them will be used to be stuffed, and two of them for the pepper sauce.

Add some salt to the ground meat. Mix it a bit and put it in a pan with some olive oil. At the same time start adding the onion, little by little. Leave it while the meat is being coocked. The smell will help you to know when it is done.

Now we will prepare the sauce this way: mix the two peppers with the bechamel until getting a reddish dough. The more the pepper, the stronger it will be; and the more the bechamel, the softer it will be.

Now start compressing the mixture of meat and dump it into the four peppers.

Now we have the sauce and the stuffed peppers. Now place them on a baking tray and spread some cheese over it. The Stuffed Peppers are almost ready.

Warm up the oven to 160ºC, and then increase the heat 20ºC and introduce the peppers for no more than 10 minutes. And done!
